feeling lightness

🌟 Feeling lightness leaving the Sivananda Ashram after a beautiful morning yoga class…
This place is the home of the Sivananda-style yoga practice I was trained in last month – and I realise that I have been taught a quite prestigious art, for life.
And some funky chants 😉

Thank you, Donia and Louise, for this celebration.

1 January 2016

There are a million stray dogs in the jungle here, and at the blast of the first firecracker before midnight, they all went wild, bless. The howling racket was surreal, and it chimed me into the New Year.

I am in Kovalam, a beach-side town on the Arabian Sea, on the bottom left-hand side of India. 1 January 2016 was Day 1 of something new for me, a Yoga Teacher Training course. I am excited about this challenge, already exhausted in that good way and quite surprised and even a bit chuffed that I’ve made it this far!

It’s 2016 people, let’s make some dreams come true.
